GCARD2010: GCARD “C’est Pas Du Vent”

Radio France Internationale ran a half-hour programme on March 31 on their environmental daily show called “C’est Pas Du Vent” devoted to GCARD.

The programme was recorded in the studios of France Bleu in Montpellier, and featured studio guests Emile Frison of Bioversity and Omar Diouf of CARBAP, as well as two segments pre-recorded from the Corum in Montpellier with Dr Papa Abdoulaye Seck, Director General of the Africa Rice Center, and Dr Adbou Tenkouano of the AVRDC (World Vegetable Center), joint winner along with ICRISAT of the CGIAR award for Outstanding Science Partnership for work in developing and promoting vegetables grown under irrigated and rain fed production systems to combat poverty and malnutrition in the Sahel of West and Central Africa.
